“SAFFLOWER"

The Fall | Winter 23 collection comes with the name “Safflower” presenting exclusive cocktail dresses inspired by the trilogy painting of Japanese origin created in the middle of the 17th century. The ink, the colors and the gold elements portrayed on the canvas are related to the love story of the princess named Safflower, part of the oldest novel “ The Genji Tale”, art demonstrated through the Metropolitan Museum. The intriguing combinations derived from the fade and soft color palette of the trilogy such as yellow, green, pink and white are in contrast with the vivid red and black elements inspired the collection and led the designers to create romantic yet bold silhouettes, crafted in light fabrics such as silk organza, taffeta and satin. An explosion of shapes and volume applied through gatherings, exaggerated sleeves and details from drape like effects and moulage flowers colocate with flattering designs. The creations and the sensual vibes fulfill the feminine figure with soft touches and multi layered effects.
