LAVIATE’s Sping Summer 2025 Collection is inspired by the artist Ithell Colquhoun, who was an important figure in British Surrealism during the 1930s and 1940s.
Her passion for investigating surrealist methods of unconscious picture-making as well as fearlessly delving into the realms of myth and magic, intrigued the designer’s imagination for creating the season’s prints and shapes. Colquhoun explored the possibilities of a divine feminine power as a path to personal fulfillment and societal transformation which elements played a huge impact when creating SS25 collection combining creativity with plenty of daydream ideas of a classic silhouette.
Sculptural shapes with voluminous sleeves and skirts as well as nostalgic summer figures, combined with unique signature prints of bold colors and surreal motives are the key to reveal spring summer pieces with comfort and sophistication.
