" ENAMORED"
Fw24 LAVIATE Fall/Winter 2024 Collection is launched with the name “Enamored” and it’s intrigued by Kate MccGwire’s uncanny feather sculptures. The inspiring process of the British artist to collect and compose bird feathers gave the designers the impetus to imagine series of garments, mostly desirable dresses, based on the monumental sculptures referred to nature, mythology, and movement that the artist loves. Shapes that compliment the collection are keeping the silhouettes simple and strong with forms and curves that follow the woman’s body connecting to the configurations of MccGwire trying to envision the executive part of bringing on set sculptures out of physical materials. Nude colors such as black, white and pastels are giving life to the collection as well as trims and of course feathers have been used as primary materials to incorporate the usage of several other kinds of entities and crafting techniques in order to conceive a calm yet dynamic aesthetic of the season.
