LAVIATE X ONAR
Drawing inspiration from ancient mythology, classical architecture, folklore and the rich symbolic world of Greek culture, LAVIATE’s hand-drawn motifs transform historical references into contemporary visual narratives. Athena, the Agora, the Centaur, Medusa and the legendary world of Orea are reimagined through delicate linework, expressive colour and intricate composition—creating a dialogue between the past and the present.
Each design carries its own story. Ancient figures, mythological creatures, birds, flowers and architectural forms coexist in carefully balanced compositions, reflecting the harmony, symmetry and poetry found throughout Greek art and tradition. Yet these references are not treated as relics of the past. They are renewed through a modern artistic perspective, allowing mythology and heritage to continue evolving through fashion and contemporary craftsmanship.
Through the collaboration with ONAR, these illustrations become tactile works of art. Printed on silk scarves and transformed into premium dresses, the motifs move beyond the page and become part of the way we dress, live and express ourselves. The softness and fluidity of silk offer the perfect canvas for the intricate designs, while the craftsmanship of each garment allows the artwork to take on a new dimension.
